The Summer Film Circuit is one of Spain’s oldest and most prominent open-air film festivals, lighting up the city of Madrid every summer since its founding in 2006.
Having successfully completed 18 editions, the event has become a famous tradition for film enthusiasts of all ages. In 2017, the circuit expanded in collaboration with the Madrid City Council, bringing screenings to various iconic locations across the city, including plazas and public spaces. With the motto, “Summer nights are cinema nights,” the festival offers a diverse program featuring Spanish films, international blockbusters, and timeless classics, catering to both adults and children. The event has garnered significant popularity, drawing large audiences. Notably, in 2016, it attracted over 60,000 audiences, solidifying its status as a cultural highlight of Madrid’s summer calendar.
